Church Leaders Say “We’re Sorry”
German and Austrian churches apologize for Holocaust actions
http://www.adventistreview.org/article.php?id=92
Facts showing that SDA supported Nazi Germany and Hitler. They now try to take eyes of themselves by blaming others. If I recall correctly Adam and Eve tried to blame others for their sin as well.
However, modern adventist have
apologized for this grave error. There are adventist who try to falsely accuse the Catholic Church as having political, and moral culpability for the Holocaust. These accusations are not made on historical fact, voting patterns, literature, etc. But the accusations are made through a series of undocumented pictures as evidence that Catholics supported Hitler. These SDA members who point and slander Catholics are usually ignorant of the SDA cooperation and promotion of Hitler.
Adventist Review – “The church says it also regrets “that in some of our publications . . . there were found articles glorifying Adolf Hitler and agreeing with the ideology of anti-Semitism in a way that is unbelievable from today’s [perspective].”
Adventist Review, “Church leaders also expressed regret that “our peoples became associated with racial fanaticism destroying the lives and freedom of 6 million Jews and representatives of minorities in all of Europe” and “that many Seventh-day Adventists did not share the need and suffering of their Jewish fellow-citizens.”
A Brief History of Seventh-day Adventists in Times of War
During World War II Adventists proudly answered the call to duty in the United States, but also, disconcertingly, in
Nazi Germany. While Protestant leaders of other denominations resisted fascism at considerable cost, there was no Adventist “Confessing Church,” and up to the outbreak of the war Adventists even in the United States spoke of Hitler in positive terms as a fellow vegetarian concerned with matters of bodily hygiene.

I agree Jesus is …
I agree Jesus is not an archangel, yet Adventist believe he is, so their view of God is false. Jesus can not be eternal and a created angel at the same time. An archangel is not part of the Holy Trinity. But that topic is on another video.
History documents …
History documents show many truths. The information I have comes mostly from Adventist sources, which I linked to the sidebar. This video is a response to Adventist who wanted to paint a terrible picture of the Catholic Church, so naturally my video is to get them to look at their own history before throwing stones. Spreading hate against people persecuted during that time is wrong and untruthful. It’s best to confront false accusations and get others to look at the full picture.
All of Germany did …
All of Germany did not. Voting records showed Catholics did not support Hitler and their areas put up the stiffest resistance to national socialism. He even wanted to assassinate the Pope Pius XII. The Catholic Church even under persecution saved 860,000 Jewish people. The Catholic church was heavily persecuted by Hitler, Three Million Catholics died at the hands of Hitler, but they continued to help the Jews, Pope Pius XII was considered righteous among gentiles by the Jewish people.
Oh and by the way.. …
Oh and by the way..
2. Trinity:
There is one God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, a unity of three co-eternal Persons. God is immortal, all-powerful, all-knowing, above all, and ever present. He is infinite and beyond human comprehension, yet known through His self-revelation. He is forever worthy of worship, adoration, and service by the whole creation. (Deut. 6:4; Matt. 28:19; 2 Cor. 13:14; Eph. 4:4-6; 1 Peter 1:2; 1 Tim. 1:17; Rev. 14:7.) Jesus is not an archangel.. but part of the trinity.
Last but not least, …
Last but not least, the fighting over who’s right and who’s wrong is, quite frankly, a fight over who gets more followers. My friend, I really don’t think discrediting another religion is the best way to show the true character of God. Probably every single religion has its downfalls, as we, humans, have flaws, but keep your mind and heart clean and worry about yourself, speak when you feel an open ear and be warm and kind. Spreading hate is not exactly christian-like..and neither is prosecution
Umm well catholics …
Umm well catholics haven’t exactly had a clean history per say. Keep in mind that All of Germany supported Hitler. He was fundamentally the savior of germany after it’s catastrophic nationalist blow in world war I. So some of our followers served their country. I bet thousands if not millions of catholics served under the same army.
Where am I laying …
Where am I laying blame on anyone. I am just pointing out correct history. Unlike the incorrect history the SDA spread about the Catholic Church without any thought to facts.
Many different …
Many different christian faiths did much to help the persecuted and did much to persecute during World War II, to lay blame on any one faith would be inaccurate. Hitler said Jesus was the illegitemate son of a jewish whore! So any christian faith aligning itself with the Nazis was ignorant or opportunistic. It is a fact that everyday Dutch people did more to help the Jews of Europe than any others. Mostly faith did not seem to have been a great motivator.
I am glad you …
I am glad you clarified your statement. This video makes no claim to refute doctrine. The video is a look into the adventist own past as many of them claimed that the pope was Hitlers pope and have went on a smear campaign against Catholics. It is an effort to have others study their own history before they accuse. History has shown the truth regarding this issue. Regarding doctrines, I have plenty of videos that show adventist doctrines which fall and I use scripture to show the many errors.
My comment was not …
My comment was not directed at your video specifically. I had watched a few videos about SDAs and my statement expressed the overall impression I got from them.
I would classify something as “hate” if the intention is to ridicule and present the subject in a negative light. “Hate” can use misrepresentation, falsehood, selective omissions, quotes out of context etc. In contrast, an objective description (such as the one found in Wikipedia) seeks to be factually accurate without value judgment.
Yes I hate animal …
Yes I hate animal abuse in any form and I long for that better world promised to us in the Bible, where “…They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the LORD.” Isaiah 66:25.
If Adventists truly did those things you claim then that is very sad and shameful. But it has no value as an argument trying to refute Adventist doctrine. Adventist doctrine stands (or falls) by the principle that no Scripture is of human interpretation but that the Bible must be its own interpreter.
You find animal …
You find animal testing dreadful, but the fact that some adventist in Germany were kicking anyone of Jewish heritage out of their churches and were associated with fanaticism which destroyed the lives and freedom of 6 million Jews to be irrelevant? If my arguments are flawed be more specific? I don’t recall stating the objective of this video was to make people turn from God, it’s your choice to stay in the adventist religion which believes Jesus is an archangel which is a false Christ.
You call it hate, I …
You call it hate, I call it debunking their false claims about many Christian issues that are very important and should not be taken out of context as they have been by adventist. I don’t expect adventist to agree with my videos, but to give others a starting point to defend Adventist false claims. I used adventist sources see sidebar.
The fact that some …
The fact that some Adventists supported the Nazi regime is in a way irrelevant. King David committed adultery and murder by proxy, but that wouldn’t stop me from believing in the God of the Bible. Some Adventist (God forbid) may be wearing fur coats or cosmetics tested on animals, things which I find dreadful. But that would not stop me from being an Adventist!
Therefore Bingolly1 I think that your argument is flawed. Do you get my meaning? Peoples’ actions don’t alter anything about the truth.
Wanted to watch …
Wanted to watch something uplifting and searched for SDA; instead came across all this hate stuff about Adventists. Your material Bingolly1 is of the better researched kind; some of the stuff isn’t even worth mentioning.
Watching all the hate stuff and seeing the weakness of the arguments has actually served to strenghten my faith rather than shake it.
It may be true that …
It may be true that of course the pictures were taken during a historical time period, but what are the details surrounding those pics? Not even the Holocaust Museum has specifics on the pics. If someone took a picture of you standing near a bank doorway as it was being robbed and posted it online what would we know about the picture or what you were doing there other than to draw our own assumptions? That is not called accurate factual history or research and I responded to that video. Thanks

it’s actually history anybody can see this in history channel..
“You have no proof …
“You have no proof whatsoever” I posted my sources from SDA articles on the side bar. Regarding Catholic Priest, I have already done a video about the videos that act as little picture book and not historical information so save it. A picture doesn’t say 1000 words. Read the sidebar for adventist sources. Thanks.
