The Watchtower Bible & Tract Society, Inc claims to have 7 million baptized members worldwide who are, everyone, man, woman, and child, Ordained Ministers, and the only ministers today who are following closely in Jesus footsteps in preaching the Good News of Gods Kingdom.
This video pries deeper into the intellectual dishonesty and mental gymnastics employed by WT ministers as they attempt to scripturally justify that the peddling of WT publications is a commandment from Jesus himself.
If Jehovahs Witnesses claim to be the only organization to have and promulgate the truth about God and His Word, the Bible, as written and recorded in WT publications, then why has the Truth been revised time and time again? Does it ever cross the brainwashed minds of Jehovahs Witnesses that the revision of truth would render their previous assertions about God and Scripture erroneous, and therefore false, i.e., a lie? This simple fact negates the idea that Jehovahs Witnesses are Gods only true ministers today.

@PublishingCult I would love to see someone interview witnesses and ask them if they ever take part in shunning. We all do. We have to shun any DFed person in the hall. We teach our children to shun as well. So when they grow up we have to watch ourselves or they will shun us. I think teaching children to shun and telling them that billions of people deserve to die is child abuse.

It’s time JW’s consider the idea that instead of blindly following whatever the GB says, openly question and debate the teachings of the GB if for no other reason and justification than the fact that the GB DOES OFTEN FALL SHORT DUE TO IMPERFECTION and has to revise its version of truth time and again.

Yes, it has been. Both publications, TMSGB and the Benefit book have “ministry school” in the title. Any JW knows this. They also know that the weekly meeting they attend is called “the Ministry School”. I personally found it shocking and amusing that these “promulgators of truth” emphatically denied or blatantly LIED about any connection or reference to being any kind of minister whatsoever.

@PublishingCult You know what though, I never really felt comfortable saying it. It was as if I didn’t quite buy it myself and yet I had to convince other people it was true. I got very unsettled when someone did use reasoning with me, the JW I was with at the time said it was Satan’s way of confusing us and undermining our faith. Guess she was programmed as much as I was.

@zeldagoblin, yes, and one of the purposes of this presentation is show how JW’s are programmed to answer with deception without even thinking about it. I think some of the material does that adequately. I never realized how I, too, was programmed to do this until, like yourself, I got away from the programming for a while. I wish somebody would have put a mirror up to my face when I was younger.

@PublishingCult I believed it was the truth when I preached it. I didn’t ever knowingly lie, I repeated the programmed responses I had been spoonfed by the organization that terrified me into believing that independent thinking was dangerous and that to question them was to question God himself. Pretty powerful stuff. Yes, the WT are lying, but the rank and file are brainwashed, and it is very very hard to shake that off. I only woke up when I quit going to meetings, a break from brainwashing.

what I notice when JW’s are asked a direct question they always seem to hesitate…and try to think of an answer that you would like to hear….they are taught to tell half truths…. the attitude don’t give them more than they ask for…..

The Circuit …
The Circuit Overseers and District overseers are the paid Clergy! The majority of Clergy in other religions don’t get the adoration that the COs and DOs get. @archeng123, I can get on board with the idea that JW’s believe they have the truth. What becomes disconcerting, however, is how they blatantly lie when asked simple direct questions. Such behavior sort of negates their assertion of having and promulgating truth. When held up to their own standards, both the WTBTS and JW’s fall short and are no more righteous than the “Satanic ministers” of Christendom they so dogmatically denounce as false.

“Major modern” does not refer to its scholarly accuracy, but to the number of copies printed and distributed, and says nothing about the WTBTS’s interpretation of Bible passages for the purposes of giving weight to their ever changing doctrines of supposed “truth”.
If Christendom’s ministers are Satanic, therefore liars, should we trust what the Catholic Encyclopedia has to say regarding the NWT? There are quite enough proven errors in the NWT.
